The will of Thomas "Reedy Fork Tom" McCuiston, Calloway Co., KY, 1852, mentions Jane Moody and other children.
Married to Jane McCuiston 16 Jan 1827, Guilford Co., NC
Other Spouse: Nancy E. P. Chilcutt
My mother remembered from family conversations that, in the early years of Henry County, her families -- the Moodys, the Bradshaws, and the Chilcutts -- owned a great deal of the land that became Paris Landing State Park. She knew families into which marriages had occurred but otherwise knew very little about the Moody family. Her Moody grandfather died long before she was born, and both her parents died when she was barely beyond infancy.
