Stephen Siddall, Son of John and Hester

Stephen Siddall's application for a Revolutionary War pension provides the names of both wives, Polly Head who predeceased him and Rebecca who survived him, and he provided an approximate date for his marriage to Polly Head, which occurred about 1781. His widow Rebecca's application for Stephen's pension gives her maiden name and the date of their marriage.

Children mentioned in the application were Polly Siddle from the marriage to Polly Head, and John Siddle from the marriage to Rebecca Landrum. Polly stated that she was the fifth child, but she didn't provide names of her siblings. Polly Siddle was married to DabnerYancey in 1815 according to the application.

Except for confirmation that Stephen was his and Hester's son, all information about Stephen comes from a Revolutionary War note and his pension application with widow Rebecca's addendum.
