His parents: Joshua Gore Jr and Mary J.
Her parents: Possibly A. C. and Margaret Gunn
Thomas G. B., which may be Green Barron or Green Berry.
Thomas G. B. Gore died in Georgia State Hospital, Milledgeville, Baldwin County, GA, 21 August 1939. His record states that he was divorced at the time of his death. He was apparently a victim of dementia since he had been a resident of this facility for just over two years. His body was sent back to Bartow County for burial.
Sir Joshua, the oldest child, who was the son of Thomas with his first wife, Margaret "Maggie," has a page devoted to him.
A Find-A-Grave search for Fannie Gore results in a stone for "Fanny Ruth Gore, wife of J. C. Cannon, Dec. 10, 1892, Oct 29, 1918." The grave site is in Clayton Baptist Church Cemetery in Clayton, GA. I haven't discovered the fate of Fannie's husband, but their children, Richard Calvin and Mary Elizabeth, were adopted by their aunt and her husband, Pearl and John Davidson. Both chidren grew up and married.
Charlie married and had a family, some of whom had offspring. Since his sons continued the Gore line, he has a separate page.
A bit of speculation is necessary, but it appears that daughter Mary married James W. Brown. A Find-a-Grave search for a gravestone for Mary Gore leads to a stone inscribed with " Mary J. (not C.) Gore, wife of J. W. Brown in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville. Mary's death date is listed as 21 December 1923, but the birthdate is stated as February 1894 instead of February 1895 which would be correct for Thomas's and Laura's Mary. The Georgia Certificate of Death #35035, Rome, GA, for a young Brown woman dying 21 December 1923, is for the death of Mrs. John W. Brown (not James W. Brown) of Cartersville, GA, and her birthday is stated as 12 February 1894 in GA. The gravestone I found has the date as either 11 February, 12 February, 17 February, or possibly even 27 February. The parents are given a G. B. Gore and Laura Gilbert. The certificate was filed 21 December 1923 by S. F. Magruder, Local Registrar. James W. Brown died not long after his wife's death, leaving two very young children Helen and James.
