Her parents: Thomas L. Gore Sr and Elizabeth Darnell
His parents: Unknown, but possibly Edward Stephens Sr (Eli was a brother of Nancy's husband John Stephens.)
The sources that provided most of my information about Mary Gore and her family were: Isaac Gore's bible (herein titled T. L Gore Bible since he apparently possessed it first), Lawton Lacy Gore's papers, and federal censuses.
A message penned in the initial page of the Apocrypha of Isaac's bible states "Mary Gore now Stephens was born December 12th 1813. So says Susannah our oldest sister."
Eli and Mary were probably married in Franklin County, Tennessee, (or possibly an adjoining county). They were in Henry County by 1837 when Eli appears on page 130 of the Henry County tax rolls. Copies can be found in the Henry County Archives, Paris, Tennessee. (The 1837 records begin on page 75.) The 1840 census shows that Eli and Mary would have been parents of at least one child by 1835, implying that the undocumented marriage date of 1832 is probably correct or nearly so.
The family of Mary and Eli appears not to have been enumerated during the 1860 census; however, Eli and two sons were on the 1870 census, living next door to brother-in-law's Isaac Gore's family and one house away from double sister-in-law Nancy Stephen's family. Mary had died 30 September 1869 as stated on her gravestone in the old Gore Cemetery, Puryear, Tennessee.

J P was James Knox Polk Stephens (usually known as Polk). Since I haven't provided citations, others should not use this page as a source; however, interested Stephens researchers will readily find these data to be true.
