One of us--John--bought this Hawk new in August 1961 from Taylor Motors, Murray, KY. The company was an authorized Studebaker dealer but did not sell Studebakers primarily. They sold several Larks, but I don't know of any other Hawk that they sold. The Taylor family is still in the automobile business in Murray.
This is a copy of the somewhat-damaged original window sticker. For protection against theft, I have muddied the serial number on this copy. No, I don't know whether "T. A. Walker Sober" means the transporter wasn't drunk when he delivered the vehicles.
